Job Description

Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing Food E-Com businesses in the UK on a brand new role. My client is looking for a Production Operations Manager to come on board, in this role you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team in a fast paced environment ensuring that this brand maintains its high standard of quality with their customers. As the production expert in the business you will have the autonomy to implement your own processes and potentially identify new systems & technologies to use.This role will be split between the London head office and their facilities in Kent and the West Midlands so commitment and dedication will be key along with a high level of communication and influence. This is an opportunity to join an ethically driven business who have experienced unprecedented growth in the past year and have very exciting plans for 2021.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the production team with a strong emphasis on coaching and development.
  • Set and review production KPIs and team objectives, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • You will scale up the operation as it continually grows whilst identifying improvements in processes, systems and technology.
  • You will be responsible for the recruitment, induction and training of new team members.
  • Build relationships with third parties and manage their performance.
  • Work closely with other teams in the business e.g. logistics, quality assurance and procurement.
    • Key Requirements:
  • Excellent operational background in Food ideally but open to FMCG
  • Excellent leadership experience, you have a track record of motivating, engaging and leading cross-functional teams and cultivating collaborative relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Strong experience in stock management and planning
  • Background in Continuous improvement and project management
  • Passionate about food and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, ideally has experience managing relationships with third parties.
