Job Description

Cargiant is looking to appoint a Product Applicator to work in the Collections department, reporting directly to the Product Applicator Supervisor.Efficiently carry out full valets and apply the product to collections / after sales vehicles. Ensuring all vehicles are done to a high standard prioritising them according to collection times.Duties/Responsibilities

  • Liase with the collections team ensuring a smooth running of the department
  • Check vehicle collection times and prioritise vehicles accordingly.
  • Ensure all vehicles are cleaned / washed and vacuumed ready for the customers collection.
  • Valet / clean vehicles to a high standard.
  • Apply the products to vehicles internally and externally, following the product instructions.
  • Drive vehicles within the Collections / 01st floor areakeeping to a speed limit of 5mph.
  • Keeping vehicle keys in the correct locations, avoid misplacing them to prevent delays with vehicle collection.
  • Liaise with collections advisors informing of vehicle progress and prioritising them when collection is re-scheduled.
  • Working to health and safety standards set by the company and by the actual product.
  • Undertaking any other ad hoc tasks as requested by management & senior staff.
  • Adhering to the company and departmental policies & procedures.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Use protective clothing at all times when using products.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times when dealing with any products.
  • It is each employees responsibility to ensure that the environment in which they work in is safe for them and others.
  • This includes reporting all accidents and near misses to management.
  • Reporting any potential issues which could cause harm.
  • Behave in a manner, which acts in line with the standards set out in the Health and Safety Manual and Company Handbook.
