Job Description

We’re working with a leading Insurtech, that is hiring for a Product Owner to join the London offices as they continue their rapid growth.The role will suit someone who is passionate about creating and implementing product strategies, whilst being exceptional at developing features, epics, and stories.Day to day duties will include:

  • Work closely with the Product Manager to scope and define the roadmap and backlog items (epics/features/user stories)
  • Serve as the voice of the client, through successful implementation of the platform
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyse the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Develop and maintain a prioritised backlog of user stories aligned to product strategy
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
  • Identify and help the client understand the business model, value and value proposition
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
    • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous Insurance experience, particularly claims management
  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner
  • Ability to manage a range of stakeholders and their expectations
  • Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Be able to define the product roadmap
  • Ideally, have experience with conversational UX
