Job Description

A venture-backed fin-tech and an early stage startup with ambitious plans for growth are looking for a Product Manager to join its team. Initially, you will be working remotely with a plan to return to the London office when it is sensible to do so. They are the leading UK business current account that’s helped over 30,000 self-employed people save time and money with automatic accounting, tax estimates and instant invoicing.As a Product Manager you will:- Be developing a mobile application to help small business owners run their business and on the web application to help accountants manage their small business clients.- Be discovering new opportunities towards the business goals and turning these opportunities into awesome customer experiences owning the entire process.- be using data to find new opportunities, understand users’ behaviours and track success metrics- Identify and validate new opportunities with your own market / competitor research and by actively gathering feedback to proactively address them.- Analyse user problems and produce clear and concise requirements broken down in valuable and releasable pieces of software (user stories).- Make decisions on trade-offs and prioritisations.- Work closely with the designers and the developers to deliver world-class customer experience.- Measure and communicate results to the business.- Pursue a deep understanding of our customers, informed through research and data analysis.The successful Product Manager will have the following skills and experience:- A relevant university degree showing excellence and strong analytical skills.- Proven experience in product management, including the ability to champion product and UX.- A passion for crafting awesome products through continual experimentation, iteration and optimisation.- Ability to make difficult decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data.- Experience with developing product requirements, including meeting with stakeholders, customers and working with UX / UI and engineering teams.- Well organised, able to manage time effectively, and be comfortable working across multiple projects concurrently.- Strong computer literacy across a wide variety of tools.Great people come from a diverse range of backgrounds. In return, the Manager will receive a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 pa DOE plus 32 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays) and brand new equipment when you start.
