Job Description

Product Manager - Spider is advertising on behalf of a highly successful technology business based in the City of London specialising in duty of care tools for business and organisations. They are now looking for a Product Manager with a breadth and depth of experience working in a fast-moving start-up or SaaS business in readiness to launch a new product to market. This role will be remote working and office-based 1-2 days per week.Working closely with the CPO, CTO, Programme Manager, and product & design team, you will uncover and understand the customer needs and translate them into requirements & user stories.If you are someone who can apply a customer-centric, business-focused mindset to ensure the product does what it should do and fulfils the needs, then we would love to hear from you!   • Contributing to the product strategy and vision
  • Effectively collaborating with internal teams, including Engineering, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
  • Ensuring requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations
  • Answering incoming questions about the product and its capabilities
  • Assessing and addressing technical risks.
  • Coordinating beta tests.
  • Researching competitors and similar products
  • Demonstrating new features and changes to stakeholders
  • Use database queries to analyse performance indicators, evaluating experiments, etc.
  • The ideal candidate will have the following:Qualifications
  • Degree level education
  • Experience
  • Relevant, demonstrable experience:
  • Using modern product tools and techniques
  • Regularly shipping functionality
  • Managing a SaaS product to market
  • Understanding/ experience of analytics and related tools (GA)
  • Skills & Knowledge
  • 2 years of Sprint Planning/Development using JIRA
  • Knowledge of a tech start-up environments
  • Project management skills and tools
  • Presentation skills using Google slides/ PowerPoint/ Keynote
  • A good understanding of software development methodologies
  • This Product Manager position is a Full- Time position. Working 37.5 hours per week. This role will be remote working and office based 1-2 days per week. On offer is a competitive salary of (depending on experience).
