Trust Payments have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join their growing team based in London.Job Title: Product Manager – GatewayLocation: LondonSalary: Competitive + BenefitsProduct Manager - The Role:- Manage TRU//ST Payments Gateway product proposition and strategy- Responsible for the Gateway product development roadmap, which includes managing development priorities with internal stakeholders and 3rd party partners- Commercializing the Gateway product, delivering a product pack and pricing to the sales teams- Manage and complete commercial relationships with 3rd party providers of payment processing solutions to complement the product development strategyProduct Manager - Key Responsibilities:- Develops strategic business plans and product strategy, including rigorous analysis of revenue opportunities and related costs- Monitors product performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle, and makes recommendations regarding solutions to address challenges in the portfolio or product strategy- Analyses market trends, dynamics, and competition in order to inform product and go-to-market strategies- Vertical-specific expertise with specific focus on the Airline, Retail and Gaming merchants requirements for global payment processing- Deep knowledge of reconciliation services and reporting systems; can act as subject matter expert and drive strategic initiatives to improve product offering, value-add and consultancy in these areas keeping specific vertical nuances and must-haves in mind- Commercialisation of reconciliation and reporting features and capabilities- Determines ‘go forward’ strategy for products, including assessment of product gaps, support across applicable payment gateways/platforms, maintenance and/or product retirement that need to be addressed in line with business and revenue objectives- Assessment, proposal and support of platform consolidation initiatives- Builds strong working relationships with service providers and partners; ability to negotiate pricing and system enhancements- Has solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software engineering- Provides support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and enhancements- Engages in idea generation for enhancements to existing products, USPs, concept validation, business case development, as well as financial modelling and planning of these enhancements- Works closely with Product Development, Legal, Compliance, Billing, Finance, Sales, Procurement, Marketing and other areas/teams within Mastercard as part of successful product launch. This includes vendor selection and management, contract negotiation, pricing review/proposal and required internal sign offs- Definition of and responsibility for KPIs and profitability targets (P&L)- Develops internal and external facing collateral- Creates buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners/clients- Proactive communication to stakeholders, including product training and client-facing engagements as necessaryProduct Manager - You:- Hands-on Product Analyst/Manager experience in a fast-paced Technology start-up- Solid knowledge of today s eCommerce and payments technologies, players and upcoming trends is a plus- Aspiration to grow your product management skills within a fast-paced tech startup- Exposure to a range of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence and GitHub is a plus- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Ability to work under pressure, balance multiple priorities and consistently meet tight deadlines- Superb communication skills, ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive outcomes- Avid reader of all technology publications and blogs- Technical background or experience working with RESTful APIs is a plus- Degree Educated- Fluency in EnglishTo submit your CV for this exciting Product Manager opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
