Product ManagerIf you are an experienced Product Manager, with good technical skills particularly with experience in Data Scanning and Mining. A pre-sales background would also be an advantage.Our client helps businesses understand their data posture quickly and simply by locating sensitive and high-value critical data wherever it resides across a digital estate - in the cloud, on-premises, in both and on user devices.We help businesses meet regulatory compliance requirements, identify and extract data for digital transformation projects and ensure that they comply with data management policies in real-time.The Role - We focus on the Financial Services market, and we need a product manager to help us focus how the Data Discovery product will be developed.No two days are the same. We all wear multiple hats and get stuck into whatever we need to succeed. You will be required to collaborate with all teams in the business (Development, Sales, Marketing).We really want a friendly but focused person to join our growing team.The role is to be filled by someone who wants to make a difference and be part of the direction that the business moves in.We have big plans, come and help us make them reality.Location -We work remotely, but regularly meet at the Office in Basingstoke.Responsibilities include -

• Conduct thorough analysis of the Data Discovery market. Understand what features we need to develop into our Data Discovery solution, to make it even stronger. Lead cross functional initiatives to identify business problems and validate proposed solutionsthrough customer and market research.
• Collaborate on developing a product plan and roadmap for assigned product set and get buy-in from key stakeholders at all levels of the organization including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Executive Management.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering and User Experience to develop simple, intuitive and easy to use product features.
• Monitor innovative third-party technology offerings and recommend solutions to extend product functionality.
• Communicate sprint level plans to cross-functional teams and development.
• Identify risks associated with product completion and delivery and outline mitigation/communication plans.
• Ensure that key performance indicators are determined and measured for new features.
• Accountable internal and public facing technical documentation.
• Assist with or run customer early access programs for early release of features.
• Maintain prioritized product backlog with input from Customers, Partners, Sales and Support.
• Define solutions to identified customer business problems through clear user stories/requirements that articulate required product functionality.
• Providing killer demonstrations to sales prospects and when needed, operating in a "Presales" role to assist the sales team.
