Job Description

Key Activities

  • To help manage the ongoing product management of the product range working with the head of product and product development manager
  • Help manage the Consumer Duty and Assessment of value for the fund range alongside the Head of Product.
  • Support the planning and project management of fund launches, modifications and closures, working closely with relevant departments including Distribution; Legal & Compliance; Operations; Risk; and Asset Management.
  • Ensure that product work is conducted in line with regulatory requirements and the firm’s require areas of product suitability, pro governance and Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Ongoing proactive review of industry and regulatory developments, with the associated project management and implementation
  • Maintain up-to-date information in internal databases and product folder to help with data and collation of board packs where required for internal and external board meetings
  • Prepare management information for senior management on product management initiatives.
  • Management of internal product databases and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Analyse regulatory and tax changes and implications.
Experience
  • Degreed level, and good academics
  • Understanding of how these funds are accounted for, custody, reporting and tax matters
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time, and prioritise appropriately
  • Thorough knowledge and the ability to analyse key competitors and the competitive environment
  • Good working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
