Job Description

As a luxury fashion company with a strong ethical standpoint we are leaders and innovators in our industry.Overview Reporting to the Product Development Manager/ProductManager in Italy, the Product Development Assistant will support the creative team to interpret the knitwear, denim and jersey products, collaborating with other departments such as material, merchandising and technical team in Italy. This is a 10 month fixedterm contract (maternity cover) starting in November/December 2024. Your Mission:

  • Responsible for monitoring trials and protos delivery and managing the shipments
  • Assisting the team in the organisation for meeting, fitting, logistics of collections and show or lookbook
  • Creation and development of colour book, linelist and any documents necessary to the development process
  • Helping on the fts launch of the collections
  • Carry out regular updates of sketches and swatches launch and fitting photos
  • Attending protos fitting for understanding of collections development
  • Organising and archiving trials and research of the 3 categories every season
  • Establish relationship with designers to ensure a smooth development of the collection
  • Supporting the product development team with any ad hoc additional duties
Your Talent:
  • Previous experience working on the development of collections within a luxury fashion business
  • Understanding of collection lifestyle
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Attention to details
  • The ability to plan, collaborate and prioritise
  • Be able to do multitasking and adopt a flexible approach to work, also working under a stressful environment with positive attitude
  • Italian language skills desired but not essential
