This is an exciting and rewarding role with the opportunity to have a huge impact to the lives of the Children and Young People we help and gain maximum insight to the psychology of our existing and potential supporters.We are looking for a Product Designer to lead the design and development of fundraising products, based on user needs and research, to deliver on organisational priorities.You will make a difference by: Leading the design aspect on key integrated projects to design income generating products based on user needs and research. Designing the look and feel of products ensuring the creative is bold, engaging and appropriate for the audience. Developing an expert understanding of the users needs and champion these in the delivery of small and medium size products by engaging with users and stakeholders through multiple channels. Defining, explaining and iterating a product vision for small- and medium-size products that are compelling to your users, team and stakeholders with broad guidance by the Innovation Manager and Lead. Creating measurable goals for your products and report against these to demonstrate progress against stated benefits, ensuring products are always developed and designed with organisational goals in mind. Achieve agreed targets for product testing across all departments. Working alongside Innovation Managers in developing and delivering large-scale products and leading on small scale products by following the product development process or working in design sprints as appropriate. Upskilling and training colleagues across the Fundraising, Communications and Policy department by sharing innovation tools and techniques and product expertise with colleagues.You will need: To be educated to degree level or have equivalent work experience. Experience of designing income-generating products. The ability to optimise existing products, project managing optimisation cycles including user testing and stakeholder management. The ability to engage with users and use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to produce personas, user stories and user insights. Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills that you are able to tailor to the needs of the audience. undraising and/or marketing knowledge is a plus.
