Job Description

We already like you. You are probably one of us.We are hunting for a seasoned Product Design Lead, with solid experience across all known, unknown product design development stages and strategies. In this role you will play a key part in fulfilling our product strategy and business objectives.As the lead designer, youll get to work at all levels: everything from contributing to the product roadmap, all the way through to crafting delightful micro-interactions.The right candidate is a highly creative problem solver, who is both insights and research-driven, and has a good grasp on how to build a global product that moves money around. This is a senior-level full-time design role. Youll be expected to lead multipleinitiatives from start to finish. You should be comfortable shaping and driving projects from a high level, as well as executing design work at an individual contributor level while building out your dream team.Key ResponsibilitiesWho you are:

Your role will require you to:
  • You love the craft of product design and strategic thinking.
  • You are passionate about design processes & systems and continuously explore new patterns and best practices for your problem-solving toolkit.
  • Youre experienced at taking customer and business goals, and applying the design process to deliver practical and creative solutions.
  • You understand the importance of putting the person before the device. Designing for your customers hearts and heads first and ultimately profitability.
  • You like working collaboratively with others, driving projects with multiple stakeholders, and getting feedback along the way.
  • Uses creativity from a wider perspective to take a What problem are we trying to solve philosophy/approach.
  • Experience leading projects while sharing work with other product designers and collaborating with cross-functional leadership
  • Lead design decisions and guide user research initiatives
  • Create new design systems and frameworks for improving the overall design consistency, accessibility, usability and productivity.
  • Capable of capturing insights from user interviews, interaction, and observation that are driven by a deep concern for the customer and generate user analytics.
Iteration Planning
  • Ensures close collaboration with the product and development team.
  • Play an active role in mitigating impediments impacting team performance.
  • Proactively try to mitigate late found defects that impact the customer experience.
  • Demonstrates design application knowledge or specific domain expertise.
  • Clearly communicate and guide design journeys via product deep dives
  • Define customer needs and lead the design team addressing those needs
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
  • Diverse thinking and fresh ideas. Thinking big or even a little bigger than that.
  • Participating in product, marketing and ops meetings to ensure alignment.
  • Analysing product usage data to bring the best experience to our customers.
Leadership:

Skills/Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional product design experience in the digital product space. (Bonus if youve worked on FinTech/Payments products before)
  • 5+ years of product design lead experience, having managed product designers and development cycles from concept to launch in an agile environment.
  • Have a robust portfolio of digital products demonstrating your design thinking abilities and how design decisions impact the customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage resources across distinct locations and time zones.
  • Able to work and collaborate in a remote environment
  • You have a good internet connection, and can normally be available during core-hours synced with Central European Time (GMT+2)
