Job Description

Fund Accountant/Product Controller A unique and niche very high growth financial services organisation trading in cryptocurrency seeks a proactive, hands-on, Product Controller/Accountant. Based in Mayfair, you will join a highly capable, commercially driven team who are leaders in this nichesector of financial services. You will work alongside many professional and highly talented individuals who will provide plenty of support for you to learn in this role and develop your career in financial services and operations.Your new roleWorking with the passionate CFO and Head of Operations, this role will ensure the day to day operations run in timely, accurate and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring important trading processes, controls, broker confirmation matching, daily reconciliations (trade/ cash breaks, daily PL and other reconciliations)
  • Managing future/options trade cycles from beginning to end, including trade allocations
  • Resolving any issues associated with transactions
  • Oversee the production of daily reports, P&Ls and operations reports
  • Checking month end is completed correctly by outsourced accounting firms
  • Liaise with auditors
What youll need to succeedTo succeed as a Product Controller/Accountant here, you will be:
  • A qualified Accountant (ideally ACA but will also consider CIMA, ACCA, etc) with either a financial services background or experience gained in a practice environment (definately with financial services clients)
  • Wanting to work in a SME/boutique environment, in a job that is not a month reporting and accounting role, rather involving monitoring reporting and analysis on daily trading and compliance
