PRODUCER Job DescriptionReports to: Head of ProducingSalary band F: £42,000 - £47,000Annual Leave: 23 Days, plus 8 public holidaysWorks with: Project Directors and across all areas of the businessThe role is full time, working remotely in the short term,with a blend of home / office work in the future. You will have at least 3 years experience producing in different territories with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of settings,scales and art forms. You will be a true collaborator who understands the importance of the project as a whole and how each of the projects many elements feed into each other. You will be excited by working within a design studio and thrive off working ondesign led work for multiple clients and stakeholders. You will also have the ability to build trust fast and be comfortable working with new and existing clients and collaborators. Like us, you will be driven by a passion for telling stories, and for beingpart of a piece of work that aims to amaze audiences and those who engage with the project at all levels.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitating and supporting design driven work for a range of different settings, scales and art forms Create new connections andmanage existing relationships with clients and collaborators Responding to initial enquiries from potential clients in collaboration with the Project Director - coordinating responses to enquiries, creating initial budgets and managing tender applicationsNegotiating client contracts (Alongside 59s agent) Working with the Project Director, Studio Manager and Lead Designer on projects to plan deadlines and deliverables for the in-house creative and freelance project team Project budget creation and managementincluding monthly cashflow forecasts Reporting to the directors and wider company team on the progress of projects Providing regular updates to the client Working with the Assistant Producer to contract freelance staff and suppliers Management of 3rd PartyRights for licensed rights controlled material (Music, film footage, stock imagery etc.) Managing travel, accommodation and visas in collaboration with the Assistant Producer Managing logistics for projects in collaboration with 59s Technical and Productiondepartment Keeping abreast of PR requirements, i.e. photography / marketing materials / website and working with 59s PR to help maintain and expand 59s press profile. Analysis of past, current and potential future projects to inform company-wide planningPresenting to potential clients and stakeholders Identifying and approaching potential clients for new business where appropriate Working within and to 59s Sustainability guidelines and goals, and where possible encouraging and supporting clients to do thesameSKILLS At least 3 years experience producing multiple, complex projects Understanding of how to encourage creative collaboration between a variety of different departments An ability and willingness to work as part of a team Experience in budgeting andeffective budget management Experience in negotiating complex contracts An ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple workflows at any one time An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines First-rate administration and organizationalskills An interest in and willingness to travel globally (see below) A willingness to work on weekends and evenings as required Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level with a proven ability to work with people from a wide rangeof backgroundsLOCATION/TRAVELThis role will be based out of our London office, with options for remote/home working. Pre-covid, this position involved a significant amount of overseas working, estimated at 3 months within each calendar year, and with eachtrip estimated at between 5 and 20 days, we are expecting there to be some return to this way of working in the near future.
