Job Description

The Prod Ctrl Sr. Lead Analyst is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the banks books and records incoordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, and product P&L and balance sheet reporting. Thisrole is based in the Profit Attribution Analysis (PAA) process design team supporting transformation and regulatory initiatives. Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive implementation of robust Profit Attribution Analysis (PAA) reporting controls and governance framework
  • Drive execution of regulatory remediation and internal audit remediation related to PAA
  • Work closely and establish excellent professional relationships with Markets Business, Markets Quantitative Analysis, Risk Management and Technology teams
  • Efficiently solve complex, ambiguous problems/situations and identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects
  • Use effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focus on recurring issues and drive through enhancement projects and systems fixes
  • Drive standardization efforts and also work on ad-hoc projects to implement innovative ideas raised by Product Control or enterprise changes impacting Product Control
  • Champion best-in-class communication across Global Product Control and conduct trainings for PAA related policy and process changes
  • SME for PAA related policy and procedures
  • Follow the latest trends in own field and adapt them for application within the role and the business
  • Negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and guide and influence others, including colleagues in other areas
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adheringto Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in related role
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
  • Strong control mind-set and the ability of moving the firm forward
Education:
  • Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Masters degree preferred
