Job Description

The Procurement Specialist role is a vital part of the Procurement & Supply Chain team, responsible for sourcing and managing resources in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.   • Manage and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Identify potential suppliers and negotiate agreements to secure advantageous terms.
  • Help implement procurement best practices
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities to senior management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.
ProfileA successful Procurement Specialist should have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry. Ideally chilled or fresh food.
  • A good understanding of procurement procedures and sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
