Job Description

Boston Hale are pleased to be recruiting a Procurement Officer for a leading London Charity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in procurement as it includes complete support for an MCIPS qualification as wellas promotion opportunities.Day to day duties as a Procurement Officer

  • To run medium-value procurement processes to ensure best Value for Money
  • To assist with high-value procurement processes from Business Case to Contract Award
  • To respond to procurement enquiries submitted via email
  • To support the Head of Procurement in the insurance renewal process, ensuring value for money and complete coverage
  • To manage the insurance inbox and the insurance claims process
  • To maintain an up-to-date Contracts Register and Contract Performance Database
  • To assist with developing Procurement Guidance, Templates and Training for Procurement activity
  • To conduct quarterly spend analysis
  • To attend procurement training and events as agreed with the Head of Procurement
Requirements:
  • Exposure to working within Procurement
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong with Excel and full Microsoft suite
