  • This is a Start-Up Company looking for someone to take control of their Procurement function.
THE PROCUREMENT MANAGER ROLEThe Procurement Manager will be highly influential in ensuring the commercial success of the business through intelligent purchasing, stock control and materials management.Strategic Aspects of the Procurement Manager Role include:
  • Managed long term strategic partnerships with key produce suppliers
  • Manage supply base in line with agreed strategy for category and business, and in compliance with company policy and procedures
  • Present recommendations to the board regarding key strategies, gaining sign-off and therefore delivering successful implementation. e.g. new processes which deliver growth.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Experienced Senior Buyer / Procurement Manager to manage the e-commerce function of a Start-up Business.
  • E-commerce experience
  • Major Retailer experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Passion for food and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective communication across a range of stakeholder groups.
  • Degree Qualified or equivalent
  • Fluent Arabic Speaker (desirable)
