Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key aspect of the role is playing a key part in a digital procurement transformation
  • You will essentially be business partnering with the CIO in a strategic role - developing a strong relationship, and influencing what they sign off on from a procurement perspective, as well as what they take to the board
  • In a position where you are expected to add value and drive continuous improvement as opposed to just driving savings. Business goals and objectives need to be taken into consideration in a collaborative environment
  • First project is likely to be looking at cloud migration - cloud based systems with the likes of Microsoft Azure and Google
  • You would manage 2 direct reports
Key Skills:
  • Able to challenge and influence stakeholders to a senior level
  • Ideally experience of procurement/business transformation
  • Experience of cloud based systems such as Azure or Google would be useful, as well as other technology services/SaaS
  • A strong track record of delivery and adding value to stakeholders
  • Degree/CIPS/Equivalent qualification
