Not all of us work directly with external clients. Finance currently has a vacancy for a Procurement Commodity Manager to support the firms Business Services & Travel (BS&T) function. The role is likely to suit a professionally qualified or part-qualified MCIPS individual with strong Source- to- Pay experience gained in a mature Procurement environment. Candidates with experience in the Business Services & Travel category would be desirable,but not essential. Business Services & Travel is a varied and diverse category. The key services that combine to make up this category area include travel (air, rail, ground transport), hotels and serviced accommodation, meeting and event services, training centres, corporatecard programme, car fleet, and insurance. This is a role that will involve working closely with London-based internal service owners to support the sourcing strategy and supplier management across the Business Services & Travel supply chain. The successful Procurement Commodity Manager applicant must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as an ability to build sound relationships with a variety of key stakeholders in a trusted business advisor capacity. The role is variedwith tasks spanning the procurement process, including facilitating tender exercises, contract management and administration, market reviews, contract preparation and negotiation and supply chain management. Procurement is a mature strategic sourcing function at PwC with excellent sponsorship within the business. A well-established category management structure is in place, and the Procurement team has delivered significant commercial and operational benefits throughstrategic sourcing initiatives over many years. The implementation of Coupas Business Spend Management as PwCs end-to- end S2P platform is anticipated to help facilitate opportunities for further supply chain realignment and service quality enhancements. As a result, the business will increasingly look to Procurement to provide strategic sourcing expertise and to help developand manage large sourcing projects, whilst managing associated third party supplier risks. The role reports directly into the Procurement Business Services & Travel Category Manager and is an excellent opportunity for an appropriately skilled professional to develop their career within a leading Procurement function.
