These businesses cover market research, consulting, analytics, health, polling, surveys, brand tracking, media effectiveness, audience measurement, brand strategy and innovation. We have roles across Direct, Indirects and Technology procurement, these roles report into the tower heads who report into the CPO. Directs procurement cover Marketing Research, Media, Transformation, Outsourcing and Technology categories.Kantar is recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager for driving the Quantitative Research Category on a global scale. Reporting into Tower lead for Direct Procurement, you will be a key senior member of the global procurement function. In this role, you will be managing the commercial and contractual aspects of all quantitative research activity, shaping the global strategy for Kantar’s research spend, and working closely with relevant lines of the business to ensure a seamless procurement delivery.This position is responsible for the development and implementation of Quantitative category strategies, leading relevant sourcing initiatives and ensuring spend under management is coordinated with the global and regional/divisional objectives. The Quantitative categories include, (but not limited to) E2E Quantitative, CAPI (Computer-assisted personal interviewing), CATI (Computer-assisted telephone interviewing), Face-to-face, Mystery Shopping, Clinical Studies & Trials, etc. The position also may work across Online Sample, Qualitative Research, Translation, Incentives and be involved in Outsourcing, Platform Technologies, Media and Data acquisition projectsYOUR MISSIONS

  • Develop a full Category Management approach with senior management sponsorship, including communication and implementation defined category strategies
  • Plan, organise and execute Kantar’s related Procurement activities with the objective of obtaining best value while balancing commercial and legal risk
  • Reduce total cost of Kantar third party spend and delivering savings
  • Monitor category spend and drive continuous improvement
  • Leverage expertise of industry best practices and Procurement process improvements, benchmarking of market competition, as well as internal forecasting capacity
  • Lead RFIs/ RFPs/RFQs, and achieve cost savings through negotiations
  • Develop and maintain metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery
  • Act as escalation point on supplier disputes or performance issues
  • Input of all contracts to the internal contract database for ongoing supplier management
  • Communicate appropriately and establish strong partnership with internal business stakeholders and with suppliers
  • YOUR PROFILEYou’re likely to be a great fit for the role if you:
  • Have a Bachelors Degree e.g. Business Studies, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Have 5-10 years of experience working in a corporate procurement environment, performing vendor and contract management and negotiating complex deals, ideally with international experience of Marketing and other related categories
  • Have good contracts experience (should have a sound basis of contract law to negotiate most aspects of contracts – with limited legal input).
  • Have successful experience working on multiple projects with competing deadlines and delivering savings that impact the bottom line
  • Are Fluent in English
  • Have advanced Excel modelling, Financial, PowerPoint and Information Technology skills
  • Are a self-starter - Comfortable taking ownership of a full Category Management approach, working without high levels of oversight
  • Are a problem solver, you can recommend solutions independently
  • Have proven relationship building skills, including senior stakeholders
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately with strong attention to detail and statistical analysis.
  • Have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
