Job Description

Summary£26,950 up to £36,300 *per annum - This isn’t about having big plans. This is about making them happen.Our Procurement Department is now looking for a strong and driven Procurement Administrator to join a vibrant, close-knit team. This fast-paced role offers an excellent opportunity to hit the ground running, working on some exciting projects from the get-go.This position offers on-the-job training and experience, along with the opportunity to take on new areas of responsibility very quickly.As a Procurement Administrator, you will assist project managers in completing essential projects for the success of Lidl and develop into a successful Procurement professional!We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, weoffer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.What youll do

  • Responsibility for raising purchase orders
  • Processing invoices
  • Creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Processing E-mails and calls
  • Preparing and managing data using Excel reports
  • Arranging travel and meetings
  • Conducting research and analysis for project managers
  • Liaising with suppliers and maintaining relationships with Key Account Managers
  • Setting up user accounts for the Procurement Department
  • Processing and administration of Procurement related topics and tasks
What youll need
  • An experienced Administrator
  • Some previous experience managing invoices is highly desirable
  • A strong multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organise work time proactively and prioritise deadlines accordingly
  • Great experience with full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • An excellent communicator, able to adapt communication to different stakeholders
  • An unwavering eye for detail supported by good literacy and numerical skills
  • Motivated and proactive with an attitude to learn and develop
  • German skills are beneficial but not essential
