Job Description

Description:My Client is looking for a Process Engineer who is skilled in business processes, how to diagnose problems within an organisations current methodology, and how to redesign, reconstruct, and monitor the processes to ensure they are effective once the implementedchanges are tested for their effectiveness. Before developing work strategies, you will have to perform/develop pre-new business processes and determine the issues it faces. As a business process engineer, you will have the reasonability to implement new technologiesinto the workplace to create automated efficiency.ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of the Process Engineer are:

  • Responsible for the technical delivery of Process Engineering solutions, in accordance with client / asset priorities and schedules.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and comply with required checking procedures.
  • Ensure all study / project scopes are well-defined and any scope changes comply with Project Management Procedure.
  • Ensure all project work is compliant with agreed client requirements and applicable statutory / regulatory specifications, relevant codes and standards, in addition to PDi’s quality standards.
  • Provide engineering support to other disciplines in the execution of multi-disciplinary scopes within agreed timelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring all business activities are executed to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Generate, check and approve technical engineering deliverables.
  • Propose, develop and maintain discipline standards, templates and tools to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the department.
  • Report on progress, opportunities and risks, concerns and anomalies to the Head of Topsides Engineering.
  • Takes initiative to identify, develop and follow-up recommendations to enhance own performance and wider Process Engineering practices, methods and tools.
  • Liaise with clients, authorities and verification bodies, as required.
