Job Description

Description:Our client who is a leading asset manager has a rare opportunity to join their advisory function to support across their equity private markets, alternatives, private debt and multi-alternative solutions teams.The role will support with being an SME on a range of regulatory topics (e.g. conflicts of interest, market abuse, regulatory implementation, investment allocation and reallocation, cross trades); fielding time sensitive queries in relation to material non-publicinformation and, drafting of policies and procedures.

  • Provision of qualitative compliance advice and support to the relevant business areas within Private Markets;
  • Review of relevant regulatory developments and onward communication to the relevant business areas where appropriate;
  • Active participation in Compliance or business-driven projects, including regulatory developments and supporting strategic growth initiatives;
  • Providing Compliance representation throughout the Product Development process of EMEA domiciled Private Markets institutional andwealth products (including, ELTIF and LTAF), including review of fund documentation and provision of regulatory advice asit relates throughout the product development and distribution lifecycle;
  • Liaising with portfolio managers and other investment staff on regulatory matters and the application of compliance policies, e.g., inside information and wall-crossings, crossing, allocation and re-allocation, conflicts of interest;
  • Support of the Capital Markets Team on regulatory matters including advising on application of Information Barrier policy, Restricted Lists and applicable regulation;
This will be a year long contract offering £500 PAYE. You will need to be able to commute to the London office 4 days a week with 1 day at home.
