Job Title Private Bank Business Line Compliance Officer - CIO, BLIS Managed Solutions Location London Corporate Title Vice President Based in Winchester House, this role involves all aspects of Compliance work for Deutsche Bank Private Bank Chief Investment Office (CIO) including Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM), the DPM Products and Sustainable Solutions teams within Banking, Lending& Investment Solutions (BLIS) and coordination for client marketing communications globally, including advice, advocacy, product/service review and approval, regional coordination, training, partnering with other Compliance functions on surveillance & monitoringcontrols as part of our comprehensive program for Compliance risk management. You will lead the creation and maintenance of global, regional and local policies, standards and procedures for investment strategy publications, investment recommendations and otherclient marketing communications. Your key responsibilities

• Providing Compliance coverage for the PB CIO (including DPM) unit as well as the DPM Products and Sustainable Solutions teams within BLIS
• Developing and maintaining harmonized global PB governance and standards related to client communications and marketing, including relating to topics of ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and Sustainability
• Providing leadership on new initiatives and projects globally with a focus on adherence to compliance standards, global consistency, and risk mitigation
• Representing Compliance on Management and Governance forums and act as a recognised point of escalation
• Providing periodic reports and updates regarding Compliance issues to Global Compliance Management, Regional management and the Business
• Assisting the business in establishing its policies and procedures and Key Operating Procedures to avoid regulatory and reputational risk; Provide leadership for training curriculum on content standards

Your skills and experience

• Industry knowledge: A broad understanding of the wealth management industry, including key service offerings (investment advice, discretionary portfolio management/investment management, banking and lending)
• Product Knowledge: Wealth management product knowledge including regulated and unregulated collective investment schemes, equities, fixed income, derivatives and structured products including products with sustainability focus
• Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of wealth management regulation, MiFID and rules regarding retail distribution review, suitability, treating customers fairly and conduct of business rules with respect to both investment advice and discretionaryinvestment management. Additionally knowledge of existing and upcoming regulations related to sustainable finance
• Project Management Skills: Experience in successfully driving and coordinating cross-regional projects, managing and motivating a project team with the ability to communicate confidently
• Interpersonal Skills to include self-motivation and initiative taking; unquestionable integrity; ability to build understanding and trust; strong teamwork, communication (both written & oral), presentation and influencing skills; analytical skills
