Print Designer

We are looking for a highly skilled Print Designer to join the Casablanca Team!The Role

Re-working painted artworks, creating mockups and placing artworks into patterns. The print designer should offer mockups while taking into consideration garment construction and technique limitations.
Ensuring prints are placed on the pattern in an aesthetically pleasing manner following the brands key codes. Engineering across seams where necessary.
Be present in pre production fittings to note any changes to print placement and artwork.
Keeping up to date records and efficient archiving of prints produced.
Updating of print files and artworks to be production ready in response to fitting comments made after sampling stage.
Designing artworks for both woven and printed accessories and soft accessories using relevant software as well as developing artworks.
Presenting research, ideas and designs for new artworks reflecting seasonal themes and brand handwriting, following the Art Directors seasonal brief.
Demonstrate initiative in all situations. Anticipate where and how they can help during every step of the creative process and taking initiative on tasks to help the team finish the workload.
Consistently report and discuss with Senior Print Designer.

Skills Required

At least 3 years experience working as a print designer in high end fashion.
Highly proficient in Adobe packages: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Able to create and work with complex files in a manner which can be easily passed onto other team members.
Experience working with placement print and garment patterns.
Self motivated and proactive.
Comfortable travelling for work.
A good team player.
