This organisation provides excellent career progression opportunities and are currently undergoing a cloud migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This company are lookingfor a Principle Data Engineer/Platform Engineer to help drive the team technically.Team/Interesting Projects:Our Data Engineering team consists of 5 talented individuals. As a Principal Data Engineer, you will work closely on the DevOps Cloud side, collaborating on various projects, migrations, and transformations.Responsibilities:Utilize the core data engineering suite and contribute to infrastructure and platform engineering.Demonstrate seniority in implementing best practices without direct leadership responsibilities.Provide support and mentorship to more junior members of the team.Manage the software supply chain for data-specific applications, leveraging GitLab and CI/CD.Prioritize data security in all aspects, including GCP networking, data security, and data sharing with third parties.Configure and integrate BI tools into the cloud estate.Tech Stack:Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Terraform or CloudFormationDocker (optional)Please register your interest by sending your CV to Ewan Heyworth via the apply link on this page.
