A creative, established, promotional medical communications agency are looking for a Principal Medical Writer to join their medical writing team on a permanent basis. This agency is truly unique, in that 75% of their therapeutic focus is on rare diseases and ultra-rare diseases. This means that the work they do often has a monumental impact on smaller groups of people, and the agency’s medical writers are afforded the opportunity to see tangible outcomes of the work they do.Principal Medical Writer Role This agency are looking for a Principal Medical Writer who can lead their growing team of medical writer across a variety of accounts. Although their primary focus is on rare diseases, the agency are more than happy to offer potential candidates a role that focuses on other therapeutic areas within their business, and no writer will ever be stuck focusing on just one account if they do not wish to. The agency’s outputs include a variety of deliverables, excluding manuscripts and publications. They are happy to truly adapt the role to the writer, affording their writers the opportunity to get involved in strategic and client-facing parts of the business if they want it.Principal Medical Writer Requirements - A high science background (minimum Bsc)- 5+ years of experience within the medical communications spaceThe agency are looking to provide the right candidate with a salary in the remit of £55,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience.
