Job Description

Role: Principal Geotechnical Engineer Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Car Allowance + Standard BenefitsLocation: London Bridge (Near Borough Market)

  • Technical Requirements: Geotechnical Design - GIRs (Ground Investigation Reports), GDRs (Geotechnical Design Report), Shallow and Deep Foundations, Retaining Walls, Slope Stability
  • Management: Team Management, Project Management and Delivery, Business Development, Office management
  • Projects: Infrastructure, Rail, Industrial, Residential
  • Academic: BEng Civil Engineering, BSc Geology, MSc Geotechnical Engineering, MSc Engineering Geology, MSc Soil Mechanics (or Similar)
  • Chartership: Must be chartered (CGeol or CEng)
    • The Principal Geotechnical Engineer will Lead the London team and have an all encompassing role that will include;
  • Geotechnical reporting and signing off of technical reports
  • Training, mentoring and growing the team
  • Strategic impact on how and where to take the London office
