My client is a professional engineering consultancy providing services worldwide. This multi-award winning company are looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to be based in their offices in London. The successful Geotechnical Engineer will have a MEng/BEng or PhD in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and have ideally reached chartered status.Candidates are required to have a minimum of 10 years experience in geotechnical engineering and design and a thorough understanding of Plaxis 2D & 3D, Finite Element Analysis, Slope Stability Assessments, Retaining Wall Design and Deep Base Modelling. Additionally, the successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will be skilled in the use of specific computer software, geotechnical report writing and the preparation of design documents such as F001.This exciting role will involve the design delivery of geotechnical elements, preparation of fee budgets, proposals, calculations and drawings during the execution of projects.
