Who were looking for We are looking for a seasoned and technical infrastructure and/or cloud engineer to be part of the Enterprise Cloud Team and be part of the multi-year cloud transformation program that we have embarked upon. We require someone whohas in-depth experience of engineering and integrating platforms and services on public cloud, and has worked with development and business agile teams on successful, medium-large scale, cloud migrations. We are looking for a passionate infrastructure andcloud advocate who has an understanding of infrastructure, development and cloud best practices, industry trends, modern technologies and new ways of working. The team You will be part of the Enterprise Cloud team that is comprised of two functions, the Cloud Centre of Excellence covering Azure PlatformSRE, AWS Platform SRE, Cloud Enablement and Cloud Architecture as well as the Cloud Business Office who cover cloud technical project management for each of the 7 Cloud workstreams namely Engineering, Migrations, FinOps, People and Training, Communications,Governance and On Premise Cost Management. You will be a Cloud Engineer within the Core Platform SRE Team who are subject matter experts for Azure and AWS foundational cloud infrastructure. You will engineer, integrate and support a best in class foundationalcloud platform and service offering. You will work with multiple cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure the platform is able to cater for the onboarding of existing and new applications. You will join a highly technical team who are solely focused on cloud,who are integral to a successful cloud adoption and migration programme over the coming years.
