A primary school in Greenwich are looking for 2 trained primary teachers to join their school on a full-time basis from January until the academic year. The school are looking for an experienced primary teacher or a confident NQT who has taught in eitherKS1 and an experienced teacher for with experience in KS2. The Roles Role 1 is ideal for an NQT/ECT or an experienced teacher who has previously taught in KS1. You will be taking over a settled and engaged class. There is a mix of abilities and you will need to be confident in differentiation and supportingchildren towards expected levels. There is an experienced year team in place who will be able to offer guidance and support in planning, assessments and general teachingRole 2 is for an experienced teacher to take over one of the year 6 classes. The class have settled well in to the school year but need to continue to have a dediated and supportive teacher in place to support them toward national assessmentsin May 2022. Due to the nature of this role, the school are looking for an experienced teacher with excellent knowledge of KS2.In both roles you will be working within a year group team and planning will be shared within the team. You will need to be able to quickly establish positive relationships with a range of pupils and be able to manage classrooms effectively.Both roles are offered on a contract basis but there may be an option for a permanent contract in the future. The school This school has recently become part of a schools partnership in Greenwich to allow for progress and development. A new, forward-thinking and caring headteacher began leading the school on this journey in March 2021 and since September has been joined bya dynamic and dedicated new leadership team. Since March, there has already been significant changes to improve the school environment and engage, staff, pupils the local community of parents in their new vision.
