The school itself is situated in an expat area called Nanshan and looks out across the bay toHong Kong, which is close enough to enjoy very easily at weekends.BenefitsThe remuneration package is very generous and includes the following;A competitive salary package.Accommodation.Return Airfare and baggage allowances for teacher and dependents.An annualbonus of 10% of salary, subject to appraisal.Full health insurance coverage for teachers as well as cover for dependents.100% remission on tuition fees for up to two dependent children attending the School. 50% remission on tuition fees for third dependentchild onward in a bilingual environment.The cost of all working visas, dependents resident visas and work permits costs paid for by the school.2 year contract.*Please note that currently dependent visas are not being issued for family members - please discussthis with your Teachanywhere consultant if you wish to travel from outside China with family.ResponsibilitiesTo identify students that would benefit from academic intervention through teacher assessment, observation, professional dialogue and referral.To coordinate,plan and deliver the academic intervention programme for the Primary school.To monitor and track progress for students participating in the intervention programme and report data to the Lower Leadership Team, teachers and parents (where appropriate).To provideadvice, guidance and support to teachers to enable adapted differentiation in the mainstream classroom.RequirementsYou will be serving as an Intervention teacher in the lower (primary) school and relevant experience is required alongside:Minimum 3 years postqualifying experience.UK curriculum experience.SEN Experience.Knowledge of ESL strategies to support teaching and learning.Experience of planning, leading and delivering interventions in a school environment.Experience of managing and coordinating studentcaseloads.The academic staff is selected for their genuine interest in their subject and the ability to convey that interest to students and raise expectations for success.
