  • Our client Primary School are looking to appoint a dynamic Headteacher to lead this established two form entry primary school.The Governing body are looking for a Head who is engaging, inspiring and able to motivate staff at all levels and working well with the local community.The successful applicant should be committed to offering a warm, friendly, inclusive and purposeful setting for all students to flourish. The school are looking for someone who would seek to raise the pupils attainment to the next level in keeping with the vision and motto of the school.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Leader, ideally currently leading a school, or an experienced Deputy head ready for the next step in their career.The school would be keen to receive applications from Leaders who have excellent communication skills, an extensive and successful background in school improvement and sound understanding of managing finances.The successful candidate will provide professional vision and leadership for the school, ensuring high quality education for all its pupils and demonstrating a passion for continual improvement and achievement.You will lead by example, holding and articulating clear values along with moral purpose, integrity, drive and determination.   • work with the governing body to decide the schools values, making these known to pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
  • make staff aware of key priorities, giving tasks to teams and individuals with instructions to evaluate and review
  • set high expectations of learning and achievement for staff and pupils
  • use data to track performance against targets and challenge poor results
  • make sure parents and pupils are informed about progress and how they can support improvement
  • use the school to pull together the local community, working with others to increase learning opportunities
  • create a healthy and safe space for learning, promoting equal opportunities and respect for difference
  • select, support, assess and develop staff
  • lead and attend meetings, inside and outside of school
  • control school finances in line with funding regulations
  • be accountable for every way in which the school is managed
  • Qualifications and Training:
  • Qualified Teacher Status National Professional Qualification of Headship (NPQH) Further qualification in a related area e.g. MEd, MA, MBA
  • The Headteacher will lead on establishing and driving the ethos, vision and values of the school. The Headteacher will take overall responsibility for the organisation, management and conduct of the school in accordance with the Governing Body and its scheme of delegation. The Headteacher will work with staff, governors, parents/carers and wider good practice to build on the strong foundations that are in place in order to maintain and further improve all aspects of the schools standards and quality. Ensuring equality, safety and respect is central to the aims and ethos of the school and these will be reflected in all aspects of the Headteachers work.
