Job Description

Company Role & TeamOur client, a major British Insurance Broker, is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join their team. Our client deals with Personal classes of business and offer a range of excellent products to millions of customers.As the Pricing Analyst you will work closely with the Pricing Manager on Home and Motor portfolios. You can expect impressive data sets to process and enrich.The Pricing Analyst MUST HAVE General Insurance Pricing experience, and you will be proficient with WTW Emblem and/or Radar.The Pricing Analyst will have hands on mentoring from the Pricing Manager and will be expected to work proactively and independently from the start. You will be entrusted with ad-hoc tasks in a fast moving environment that requires adaptability as no month is the same as the last.Our client is working from home for the foreseeable future and you will be on-boarded remotely and provided with full IT kit.Required Skills and Experience of the Pricing Analyst:

  • Proficiency with SAS and/or SQL
  • Profieciency with Emblem and/or Radar
  • Previous experience of General Insurance Pricing
  • Experience/knowlexge of optimisation is an advantage but not neccesary
  • Knowledge of Data Science techinques e.g. Building GLM Models. Is an advantage but not neccessary
