Job Description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Preferred Supplier Manager (Divisional - UK & I) to join the team located in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing an industry leading Supplier Relationship Management framework across the UK & I region so that CBRE is seen as customer of choice in the marketplace delivering value over and above.Role Summary:

  • Establish an UK & I wide Preferred Supplier Programme, working with the regional teams to identify the right supply partners and implementing UK & I Preferred Supplier Agreements
  • Lead the negotiation and development of supplier contracts that meet the companys goals and objectives and are recognised for delivering best value and high-quality service delivery to CBRE and its customers
  • Work collaboratively with the business and the supply partners to drive value for both parties, resulting in lower costs, reduced risk, greater efficiency, better quality, and innovation
  • Manage Key Supplier relationships throughout negotiation, implementation, and conduct systematic joint value-discovery efforts
  • Design and implement Supplier events to enhance and embed our relationship-driven approach
  • Develop learning and development intervention for the business managers to understand and adopt best practice to ensure our relationship driven approach is consistent across the UK & I region
  • Develop the governance, policy and process of the SRM framework, ensuring efficiency and compliance with CBRE policies
  • Acting as ambassador for SRM, interfacing cross-functionally with other functions to ensure uptake, compliance, understanding and efficiency SRM tools and processes
  • Develop and implement communication mechanisms within the division to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the delivery of procurement strategies
  • Participate in new business bid process, providing procurement expertise to the bid teams to enable CBRE to tender competitively
  • Experience Required:
  • Substantial experience of providing strategic leadership and direction within a large and complex organisation

  • Experience of the FM market and in depth knowledge of the FM supply chain
  • Able to plan and manage multiple work programmes effectively
  • Supply chain principles, procedures and methods

  • Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting
  • Leadership techniques and staff development methods
  • Tender and contract procurement practice, processes
  • Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence

  • Input to business planning activities with horizons of typically 1 to 4 years
