  • Have a 360-degree awareness of client accounts, ensuring that all work is moving forward in time and to budget
  • Take responsibility for weekly work planning, ensuring that everyone is clear on their responsibilities and key deadlines
  • Be confident in providing effective counsel and managing clients expectations
  • Building your understanding of the financial workings of an agency, forward planning and spotting opportunities to generate revenue - assisting Account Directors / Associates in resourcing
  • Troubleshooting and navigating campaign curveballs
  • Be an effective campaign manager, working with junior team to execute projects
  • Ensuring teams work is as client ready as possible for the senior team to review
  • Motivating and coaching direct reports
  • Committed to delivering exceptional work
  • Managing and motivating yourself and the team to power through actions, and be proactive in suggesting ways to continually improve ways of working
  • Providing seamless support to Account Directors / Associates where needed
Profile
  • Passion for media relations across a variety of sectors e.g. national news, consumer lifestyle, regional, parenting etc. with great media contacts.
  • Tenacious approach to media sell-ins with experience drafting media strategies and sell-in plans, managing sell-ins and driving media outreach.
  • Experience working with talent, influencers and their agents including the briefing process.
  • Good understanding of the influencer landscape and influencer marketing channels.
  • Aptitude for building client relations and providing counsel that comes from experience being client-facing - including an understanding of how to manage tricky client situations.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills at every level, and a high regard for confidentiality when needed.
  • Creative thinking skills to identify proactive ideas, newsjacking opportunities, press office tactics and influencer activations.
  • Proactively contributes to brainstorms for bigger campaign strategies.
  • Experience working on both big, integrated brand campaigns, as well as running press offices. Experience with news generation campaigns is preferable (including crafting research questions, managing radio days).
Job Offer
  • Salary between £40-45k, depending on experience.
  • Lean standard office hours are 9am to 5pm, with a 4pm finish on Fridays
