My client is a leading health charity based in central London who is recruiting a PR manager to report directly into the head of marketing. The PR Manager will be responsible for supporting the work of colleagues across the charity through delivering national,regional and trade media coverage.Client DetailsMy client is a leading health charity based in Central London.DescriptionThe PR Manager will be responsible for supporting the work of colleagues across the charity through delivering national, regional and trade media coverage. The role will lead and coordinate media interest in the charity and our work, ensuring regular contactwith target media and ensure fast response to all media requests. The PR Manager will take ownership of the execution of issue-led media campaigns, raising awareness of disability and relevant health issues and promoting UKs lobbying, fundraising and influencingwork.Profile-Experience working in a busy national press office, preferably in the third sector, or as a journalist-Proven success in securing national and regional media coverage, across print, broadcast and online, on an issues based subject.-Experience of working with case studies of vulnerable people and preparing them for use in the media-Experience of writing articles for publication, setting up media interviews and planning campaigns-Understanding of issues relating to disabilityJob OfferHybrid workingcompetitive package and salary
