Job Description

I am representing a leading independent Global PR & Communications agency who are specialises in the B2B Technology sector. They have multiple offices around the world along with a global network of partners. Their clients include blue chip brands and innovativestart ups within the technology sector including Cloudera, Vertiv and Payen. With an exciting, diverse and inclusive work culture, the agency is a brilliant place to grow your PR career!This role will be reporting directly into the Account Director (lead) and will be managing the junior staff members. It will include day to day account maintenance, strategic planning and creative input to help further the objectives of your client portfolio.You will:

  • Writing noteworthy, engaging and relevant copy, including media pitches, press releases, by-line articles, blogs, opinion pieces and feature articles. As well as helping junior team members to create content to the same level of quality
  • Training junior team and assisting them in developing skills and completing tasks successfully
  • Responsible for the day-to-day client contact, trusted by them to implement and manage activities
  • Growing and maintaining relevant industry press contacts
  • Effectively managing time spent on clients, while helping junior team members to do the same
  • Responsible for management of social media campaigns on behalf of clients; ensuring that clients business objectives are met
  • Managing all external communication with media and journalists
  • Growing presentation skills to an audience of senior stakeholders and client contacts
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of current affairs and trends affecting the clients industries
  • Overseeing copywriting of junior colleagues work, maintaining diligent attention to detail in proofreading external communications
  • Supporting the team in achieving overall client objectives through all client programme activities
What you need to succeed:
  • Self-sufficient with outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Essential ability to maintain and grow excellent client relationships
  • Essential ability to manage workload efficiently and utilise time productively, directing junior members to do the same
  • Exceptional written communication skills across all materials
  • Must have outstanding attention to detail with client and agency work
  • Implementing discretion in dealing with any issues that may arise, day to day reporting back to Directors
  • Have a very fantastic understanding of the wide range of communications methods required to execute PR programmes successfully
