Job Description

MLC Partners are proud to be supporting the hard work of the public sector on the front line of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. We are working with our client to appoint a number of interim procurement professionals including:

  • Category Manager
  • Contract Manager
  • Senior Category Lead
    • These roles will manage existing supplier contracts, assess the value for money and viability of new contracts and suppliers, and be responsible for negotiating their delivery. They form part of a highly visible and high-cost project meaning this exciting work will be fast-paced and varied. We are looking for procurement professionals who are confident commercial negotiators, emotionally intelligent, resilient and articulate. This work will include complex problem solving and influencing of internal and external stakeholders.The ideal individual will have a blend of private and public sector experience, a background in procurement and contract management.- CIPS, NVQ or HND trained- This role will be working remotely, and interview via video call - This is a quick-moving post so swift application is advised- Inside IR35, 8 month contract, home working initially Required skills
