Most of them you could label under meh’ or alright’.If winning through PPC and Paid Search were put into a football analogy; you’re looking for a firm who competes in the Champions League. But rather than just compete, how about joining a brand who’d likely win…The Role:You’ll be joining a team which is really a part of the bar setters for excellence in paid search marketing. Dealing with massive budget, large-scale campaigns, in an industry which is fiercely contested by a small number of hard-hitting, high profile digital Unicorns, of which this is one of.The first thing to highlight about the role itself is you’re going to need to have a deep pedigree in PPC, and dealing with large-scale campaigns. So this means knowledge in particular of campaign automation and the relevant tools for this. It’s not important whether this is Google Smart Bidding, Adobe or SA360.The second is previous line management experience, as you’re going to be managing the UK’s PPC team.Campaigns will include feed based campaigns, dealing with broad match keyword campaigns, audience and bid strategy. There’s going to be a lot of complexity, as this company has one of the biggest PPC media spends in the UK.As the team manager, you’ll be coaching and mentoring a small team of PPC specialists. The company has a strong Scrum based project method of working, and alongside your own deliverables, you’ll be overseeing the team to ensure performance and ROI is being achieved from their various campaigns. You’ll also be owning internal relationships with senior digital and marketing stakeholders from across the business. Staying on top of trends, products and pricing strategies to adapt in appropriately to your and the team’s various campaigns. There’s scope for you to get involved in the testing and trailing of new performance media features too. Looking at what works and what doesn’t by delving into the data behind tests.EXPERIENCE NEEDED
