BI Developer / POWERBI Developer opportunity- Investment ManagementBI Developer / POWERBI DeveloperThis is a superb opportunity for a strong BI Developer / POWERBI Developer to join a thriving asset investment management business who are investing in their business intelligence data team for 2022We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced data analysis and visualisation role within the BI team.Role details

  • Title: BI Developer / POWERBI Developer
  • Location: SW London
  • Salary: £70,000- 95,000 plus bonus
  • Technical stack: SQL Server, SSAS Analysis Services Tabular Report Services a PowerBI for MIS and BI Reporting, Snowflake, Airflow, DBT and cubeJS , Tableau CRM Jupyter notebooks
What is particularly interesting about this BI Developer / POWERBI Developer, is that you will be working in partnership with the front office business users directly to deliver long term effective data and reporting solutions- there is no middleman BA/PM or tester so you will see the impact of your work up closeYou will be working in a mixture of SQL Server, Analysis Services Tabular with ReportServices and PowerBI for MIS and BI Reporting, as well as modern solutions using Snowflake, Airflow, DBT and cubeJS, and leveraging Tableau CRM and Jupyter notebooks forgaining data insightsThis role will suit a pure-play and full stack BI developer who has had some exposure to writing code (in C# or similar, and JavaScript) or scripting (in PowerShell or other languages such as Python).Responsibilities:
  • Building data analysis pipelines and frameworks for business-critical systems.
  • Delivering insightful and data rich interactive BI reports to business and technology user.
  • Working with cloud-based databases such as Snowflake.
Requirements:
  • Demonstratable experience working with complex data sets, preferably with prior experience in a financial setting.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • The ability to provide clarity and insight through compelling data visualization.
