Job Description

Power BI DeveloperRremote role with occasional expensed travel to London office Salary up to £60,000 + benefits Leading London based Organisation are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join their expanding Data Team.You will be an integral part of a team delivering data solutions across the organisationRole:

  • Leading the design and development of the Microsoft PowerBI reporting suite.
  • Creating new business intelligence capability and reports including physical and dimensional models
  • Developing ETL packages
  • Regularly meeting with users and stakeholders to ensure the right data is delivered at the right time in the right format, translating functional requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
  • Maintaining and contributing to the overall Data Ecosystem in line with the emerging data architecture.
  • Maintaining and developing the overall data model (logical and physical) ensuring metadata is maintained for existing and future requirements.
    • Skills / experience:
  • Previous experience of developing PowerBI solutions within a large organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Analysis Services (SSAS), DAX
  • In-depth knowledge of database management systems, online analytical processing, and ETL framework.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience of working within an Agile team delivering data solutions
  • Background in data warehouse design (eg dimensional modelling) and data mining.
  • Ability to converse at a technical level with technical data professionals
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and AzureDevOps
