The Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join a successful and ambitious team within an established Wealth Management firm.The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the construction of Centralised investment portfolios for clients, ensuring that the portfolios are managed in line with client requirements, their tax situation and appetite to risk, whilst being guided by theWealth Management firms investment views.The Portfolios constructed will be a mixture of Advisory, Execution only and some Bespoke client portfolios.The Portfolio Manager will investment directly into multi-asset class Funds, bonds / fixed income and Equities / ETFs.The Portfolio Manager will carry out regular portfolio reporting and evaluation process must remain in place, as the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for documenting any changes to client portfolio (asset allocation / changes to the financial markets).Assist with the evaluation of different asset classes and select appropriate securities for inclusion in client portfolios, whilst evaluating the impact of strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions and rebalancing client portfolios accordingly.Evaluate the impact of stock/fund specific, market and general economic indicators and take appropriate action within client portfolios.The Portfolio Manager will write clear, concise and technically accurate communications to clients and Wealth Managers , and from time to time attend client meetings.Day to day management and monitoring of model portfolios and production of investment proposals.The Candidate 4-7 years experience within Portfolio Management - with a thorough understanding of all asset classes and portfolio construction within the wealth and asset management industry.Sound knowledge of UK wealth management industry and the regulatory frameworkRelevant industry qualifications either PCIAM or full CFAessentialExperience investing directly into Funds (equity, ETFs, fixed income)A strong understanding of Fixed Income would be highly beneficial.Ambitious with a desire to grow with the team.Strong interpersonal skills.Entrepreneurial, self motivated and target driven.
