Job Description

Global Asset Manager. Role is within London based team. 4 days a week in the office. Fantastic career opportunities and competitive salary and bonus offering.Hiring a Portfolio Accounting Senior Analyst.DescriptionThe Portfolio Accounting Senior Analyst

  • Perform cash/asset accounting and data responsibilities for assigned global accounts. Serve as a subject matter expert for confirming accurate cash and holdings for timely investing. This includes daily transaction activity, security positions, cash balances,market values, etc.
  • Work in partnership with the Reconciliation team to make sure all records are accurate and reconciled with client and custodial books and records. Help quickly resolve any applicable breaks or non-reconciled cash/positions through active ownership of anyunresolved discrepancies.
  • Address all reconciliation, accounting and account related requests from investment teams and other stakeholders with prioritisation and speedy resolution.
  • Posting of accounting entries to the IBOR as requisite.
  • Interact with client teams/reporting.
  • Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff, legal, relationship management, IT, brokers, custodians, portfolio managers, traders, regulatory agencies and/or industry contracts to educate, provide direction, obtain information,and resolve problems.
ProfileA successful Portfolio Accounting Senior Analyst should have:Minimum of 4+ years work experience in investment accounting, with a strong understanding of financial instruments (including derivatives), valuation methods, and accounting standards.Knowledge of financial services and investment related terminology preferred.Good working knowledge of financial services / investment products and services, securities processing and information technology required.Job Offer
