Job Description

A leading fund manager is seeking a Junior PMO Analyst to join their growing PMO team. The PMO is a function which performs firmwide project management governance, reporting, and consulting.Reporting to the Head of PMO, this role will require you to create and maintain a robust project management methodology process for all project management engagements across the company, working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders, promotingbest practise across BCT and the wider JHI Project Management community by adhering to governance and training protocols that are set and implemented by the PMO team.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure governance guidelines are adhered to, performing compliance within projects by continuously challenging scope, resourcing, schedule & budget.
  • Support Enterprise and Business Change projects, proactively engage with PMs reporting an AMBER or RED status, ask probing questions about the health of their project and assisting them on the path back to GREEN.
  • Help with Development and Support of PMO processes in line with best practice and the PMO Roadmap, for example, resource planning, project prioritization, pipeline management, financial reporting, artefacts filing, PM onboarding and PMO training curriculum.
  • Potentially support and coach newer members of PMO team
  • Support the Head of Business Change and their PMs with their monthly meetings, setting the agenda and providing metrics.
  • Provide a query handling service to all key stakeholders.
  • Create project portfolio reports, ensuring strong governance over data received to ensure quality executive reporting.
  • Help Develop and Support PMOs data repository, ensure Teams, Sharepoint, Confluence and other directories are kept up-to-date and used in accordance with correct practice.
  • Ensure Project Management tools such as Jira, Aha & Workfront are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure change governance is upheld against baseline data on all projects.
  • Meeting Management (Booking rooms/Zoom, taking minutes, tracking actions)
  • Produce Project Status Reporting as needed from Head of BCT or PMO.
  • Maintenance of baseline data on all projects and overseeing logging of approved change requests.
  • Design and maintain the project delivery life cycle templates.
  • Assist with the Workfront clean up initiative to ensure PMO are in the best position to onboard PMs and their projects onto the tool.
  • Assist Head of ePMO with duties as required (e.g. intake process, cross-functional meeting and reporting, governance)
  • Vendor relationship management for PM tool (Workfront)
The role requires:

  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong Microsoft skills such as, Viso, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with working with various project management tools will be an advantage
  • Previous Project Management, PMO, Change Management experience will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of the project delivery Lifecyle/SDLC
