Job Description

PMLD Teaching AssistantFull time£85 - £95 per dayTerm time only, 5 days per weekRemedy Education Reading are currently working in close partnership with a special needs school in Lambeth to support with recruiting temp-to-perm Teaching Assistants.About this school:

  • This local maintained school provides specialist education for children aged 2-16 years with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs, including those children with autism (ASC).
  • Recent feedback from our staff has reflected a warm, welcoming and friendly school with colleagues and students who are genuinely grateful for the work you do. Feedback from each of the sites has been that they felt it was a supportive environment withan excellent team ethic.
What we are looking for:
  • We are currently looking for long term temporary support staff for this wonderful school and have several open opportunities with the potential for a permanent job offer following a successful trial period.
  • Following a remote registration appointment, we can offer you work in this school without an interview and to start immediately, for either full time, part time, long term or daily support.
  • Specially we are looking for Teaching Assistants for the Early Years, Primary and Secondary sites based around Lambeth, South East London
Pay, benefits and hours:
  • £85 - £95 per day, paid weekly.
  • Depending on site, the hours are between 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Pension scheme, holiday pay, sick pay and Reed temp benefits (including shopping vouchers).
  • Opportunity for permanent position for the right Teaching Assistant.
