Founded in 2018, theyve received an unprecendented £200m in investment in their first two years, and have already scaled to nearly 1000 employees across the UK.They are now looking to hire a Platform Engineering Manager, to manage and scale their team of Platform Engineers. Their wider engineering function, has over 50+ brilliant minds, who are all fully focused on producing the best product possible and writing high-quality code. The Platform Team are pioneers and explorers, laying the foundations for other engineering teams to ship code into production.As the Platform Engineering Manager you will play a key role in facilitating the team to deliver their best work quickly, by creating a highly collaborative and nurturing environment. Youll feel comfortable keeping a couple of your fingers in the code base - for instance helping the engineers make key technical decisions, doing code reviews and coaching and pair programming with engineers regularly.Across our system we make use of Event Driven Architecture, TypeScript, and serverless technologies including Lambda functions and DynamoDb. Our Platform team own a range of tools that allows our engineers to go faster, and more safely.
