The work of the group is of excellent quality, varied and involves providing comprehensive and pro-active advice on the full range of planning issues with a particular focus on transport, energy, housing and urban regeneration. We also have market-leading planning litigation practice.The Team has seen major growth in its work in the infrastructure promotion space during the last few years and is advising clients in the transport and energy sectors on Development Consent, Transport and Works and Compulsory Purchase Orders advising major utilities and infrastructure providers.The RoleWe are looking for a planning lawyer with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience and with a particular focus on infrastructure planning.Knowledge, Skills and Experience requiredSuitable candidates will have strong academics and have at least 4 years planning experience within a firm recognised for its planning and infrastructure consenting work.Along with excellent communication skills, we are seeking candidates with a good grounding in the basic elements of planning law, a willingness to learn and develop commercial awareness, good social skills and plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service. In addition to this you should be able to demonstrate you are able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging environment, where you will be required to meet tight deadlines.
