Pipeline Developer / Python Software Engineer (VFX Maya API TDD). Would you like an opportunity to step into the world of ground-breaking visual effects and utilise your specialist skill set to create powerful, enigmatic VFXMulti award-winning visual effects company is seeking an accomplished Pipeline Developer to join their close-knit, dynamic team to support the maintenance and development of their ground-breaking VFX pipeline. As a Pipeline Developer youll take ownership of the design, creation, testing and deployment of the next generation asset pipeline. Youll work in collaboration with a small team of talented Software Developers, Assistant Technical Directors and Tech Support on a variety of exciting projects, using a diverse, modern technology stack including Python, Maya and Nuke in a TDD environment. Not only will you be supporting artists and producers to make impressive visual effects for the big and small screens, youll have the chance to mentor less experienced members of the team. *Please note: this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures. Youll join extremely well-appointed London-based offices in due course* Requirements: *You have strong Python coding skills *You have good working knowledge of TDD / Unit Testing experience*Youre familiar with CI/CD *Youre familiar with / have experience working on backend APIs*You have experience with some or all of the following VFX tools: Nuke, Mari, Hiero, render management software such as Deadline, Tractor, Grid Engine, understanding of colour workflow in VFX, 2D / 3D applications, Nuke / Maya in API development and Shotgun toolkit*Youre a proactive team player with first rate communication skills As a Pipeline Developer youll earn a highly competitive salary (to £55k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
