ObjectivesDevelopment of international digital business application toolsProject delivery to ensure effective and timely delivery of applicationsMaintain and improve existing and future in-house web / software developments.First line applicationsupport for UK and international developed applicationsPrincipal dutiesDevelopment and delivery of online application tools which are both external and internal facingLearn and understand the architecture of our defined technical ecommerce environment Work with nominated third parties to manage development support and delivery of defined scope of worksExamine, learn and understand our current systems, web / software developments.Work internally with colleagues and existing 3rd parties to improvedata accuracy, processes and reporting.Maintain business continuity of our in-house web / software developments.Work with end-users to discuss and understand scope of requirements to ensure the business requirements are fully supported.Provide enduser training and support for our in-house web / software developments.Regularly review, report and maintain security and data integrity of our web / software developments.Analytical reporting using various tools.Skills / ExperienceFluent PHP developer MySQL and/or SQL database skills required.Knowledge of these additional languages desirable - HTML5 / CSS / Javascript / Jquery.Agile working methodology experience5+ years commercial developer experience.Must enjoy the challenge of learningand implementing new skills and techniques.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, flexible, adaptable and part of a team.
